๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ฉ โ€œInspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Futureโ€ ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’ง

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean was thrilled to team up with the Girl Guides Association of Grenada and the Biology, Ecology, and Conservation (BEC) Department at St. Georgeโ€™s University for an exciting session titled โ€œDiscovering River Health Through Macroinvertebrates.โ€ ๐Ÿž๐Ÿ”ฌ

Held on World Environment Day, this activity engaged Guides and Brownies from the St. Martin De Porres R.C School in a hands-on macroinvertebrate study to assess river health in La Sagesse. ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒŠ

Today's activity was held by Regional Coordinator-Dr. Graham-Victor.

This initiative was a fantastic opportunity to inspire young individuals to gain a deeper understanding, appreciation, and learning from the natural environment. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ“š

Participants explored the significance of small aquatic organisms in rivers and streams as valuable indicators of water quality and the overall health of river ecosystems. ๐Ÿฆ ๐Ÿ’ฆ

The activity sparked curiosity, climate awareness, and stewardship among young people as they reflect on the paramount importance of safeguarding nature for a more resilient future. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒฟ
