Transforming island communities, one innovative action at a time! Kipaji Development Initiative is a new non-profit, community development organization. Registered in 2017, Kipaji is focused on activities that tackle Climate Change, and that will contribute to the preservation of heritage, the conservation of natural spaces and species, the protection of island biodiversity, and the building of l

ocal capacity to do all of these things. This organization, for which the word is borrowed, has the ambition of exploring ingenuity in the process of addressing local issues - to tap into the aptitude possessed in Carriacou, and to unleash local talent for the good of our people. We believe that global change starts in our own backyards. The Kipaji Development Initiative will take a proactive approach to:
1. Protecting our planet.
2. Influencing island resilience.
3. .Pursuing a transformative economy, including economies of green and blue, even circular.
4. Fostering dignity and equality for our people.
5. Building partnerships to enhance sustainable development. Working out of Carriacou, primarily, the organization will pursue "smart island" initiatives, with keen intent on contributing to the realization, nationally and globally, of the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda, by effecting a philanthropic platform in the Grenadines that is built on concepts that are innovative and forward thinking. Conserving the oceans. Restoring the land. Embracing people. Unearthing brilliance. We look forward to working with you!

Newly registered, Kipaji will focus on activities that tackle Climate Change, and that will contribute to the preservation of heritage, the conservation of natural spaces and species, the protection of island biodiversity, and the building of local capacity to activities all of these things. In Swahili, Kipaji says talent...aptitude...genius. This organization, for which the word is borrowed, has the ambition of exploring ingenuity in the process of addressing local issues - to tap into the aptitude possessed in Carriacou and to unleash local talent for the good of our people. We believe that global change starts in our own backyards. The Kipaji Development Initiative will take a proactive approach to: 1. Protecting our planet by engendering good stewardship, providing active learning, and pursuing activities that promote thriving lands and healthy oceans. 2. Influencing island resilience by investing in our social capital, to increase awareness on natural and cultural resources, for positive change. 3. Pursuing a transformative economy, including economies of green and blue, even circular. 4. Fostering dignity for our people through cultural resilience and heritage preservation. 5. Building partnerships that will support and enhance sustainable development.
