Today marks 119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset. Happy birthday, Scouts! And happy necker (not scarf!) day to our worldwide Scouting family.

In less than a year, we’ll all be together at in Poland, celebrating 120 years of Scouting and creating memories that’ll last a lifetime. The adventure continues. See you there! 🎉🌍

Heddiw yw’r diwrnod lle y saethodd yr union babell brawf Scout gyntaf i fyny ar Ynys Brownsea, Dorset, 119 mlynedd yn ôl. Pen-blwydd hapus, Scouts! A diwrnod necker hapus (nid scarff!) i’n teulu Sgowtio byd-eang.

Ymhen llai nag amser blwyddyn, byddwn i gyd gyda’n gilydd yn WSJ27 yn Wlad Pwyl, yn dathlu 120 mlynedd o Sgowtio ac yn creu atgofion a fydd yn para oes. Mae’r antur yn parhau. Gwela di di yno! 🎉🌍

Today marks 119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset. Happy birthday, Scouts! And happy necker (not scarf!) day to our worldwide Scouting family.

What a week it’s been! Just over a week ago, Unit 4 were together with Unit 5 in Llandrindod Wells, and we are already counting down to our next prep camp at the end of August! 🏕️🦦

In the meantime, our young people are keeping busy over the summer with fundraising. Keep an eye on this page as we will be sharing updates on everything our participants are getting up to. We are otterly excited for what is ahead! 👀🌍

Dyna wythnos a hanner! Ychydig dros wythnos yn ôl, roedd Uned 4 gyda’i gilydd gydag Uned 5 yn Llandrindod, ac rydyn ni eisoes yn cyfri’r dyddiau tan ein gwersyll paratoi nesaf ar ddiwedd mis Awst! 🏕️🦦

Day 2 was otter-loads of fun! Both units ventured out into Llandridnod Wells, getting competitive at water balloon volleyball and splashing out some brilliant memories. These scouts are seriously making waves! 🎈💧

Huge thanks to all the awesome volunteers who made this weekend flow so smoothly, including our brilliant Welsh IST members and the Taith Canada Explorer Belt team. You absolute legends! 🦦

Diwrnod 2 oedd llond poced o hwyl! Mentrodd y ddwy uned i Landrindod Wells, yn cystadlu’n ddifrifol yn y bêl-droed balŵn dŵr ac yn creu atgofion gwych. Mae’r sgowtiaid hyn yn gwneud tonnau go iawn! 🎈💧

Unit 4 have been making the most of the bank holiday weekend with some brilliant fundraising!

Yesterday, Nia, Isla, Flic and Celyn were bag packing at Asda. Today, Sam and Evie are at a car boot sale in Rhyl. If you’re nearby, go and show your support!

Great work everyone. Every bit counts on the road to the World Scout Jamboree 2027! 🌍🏕️

A massive well done to Skye, Evie, Dan, Alyx, Flis and Anna for organising a jumble sale and bake sale in Penyffordd last Saturday! 🎉

Jacob and Hollie both popped in to show their support, and it was brilliant to see so many parents, family members and friends cheering the team on.

Every penny raised is going towards Unit 4’s journey to the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Poland. We are so proud of this team! 🦦🌍

Llongyfarchiadau enfawr i Skye, Evie, Dan, Alyx, Flis ac Anna am drefnu sêl jumble a sêl gacennau ym Mhenyffordd ddydd Sadwrn diwethaf! 🎉

Galwodd Jacob a Hollie i mewn i ddangos eu cefnogaeth, ac roedd hi’n wych gweld cymaint o rieni, aelodau o’r teulu a ffrindiau yn cefnogi’r tîm.
