🌼🌻 The Selfish Giant – the perfect end-of-summer treat in York! 🌼🌻

🌻Finish the summer holidays on a high with a trip to see The Selfish Giant at York’s Friargate Theatre! With performances from 3 September until 5 September, and suitable for age 3 upwards, it’s the perfect show for families in York.

🌻 Plus there will be free craft activities running daily in the theatre’s cafe space on show days to occupy your little theatregoers.

💜 This mini mumbler is starting school in a few weeks. It is a huge milestone for the family.

💜 We headed to our local supermarket to pick up the basics and the uniform shop for the logo items.

💜 I sized up on everything and it fits. She is particularly excited about the long socks and the fact she can wear dresses, even if they aren’t pink 🤣

💜 I bought new shoes and was advised on patent leather as they are easy to clean and durable.

💜 I opted for sticker labels rather than sewing. I have used these before and they really do stay put.

💜 We bought some books to read for starting school and the firm favourite is the sticker book.

💜 This useful booklet came in the post. If you didn’t receive one, you can pick a copy up at your local library.

🍳 NEW! Little Peanuts Day Nursery in Wheldrake is seeking a part time nursery cook - school hours, with possibility of termtime only or job share;
🧩 Dringhouses Out of School Club currently has the opportunity for a Part Time Playworker (25 hours p/week) to join the team on a permanent basis.
🤸🏼‍♀️ The Little Gym York is recruiting for part time gym instructors - would suit a 6th former or uni student who ideally has previous gymnastics experience and has a HUGE love for working with children of differing ages.
