Polish Society - University of York

Polish Society - University of York Society unites Polish students at York University and those interested in Polish culture to celebrate it together.

Our main aim is to celebrate and promote Polish culture and traditions. We would also like to ensure the access to Polish language and customs to all York University students and staff. We encourage all students interested in developing their knowledge of Polish language to contact us, so that we will be able to arrange some language learning sessions. We would be really glad to serve the future Y

ork University students (especially those coming from Poland) with an information about the city and the Uni too.

We will be meeting at Glasshouse (Campus East) and then we will be making our way over to the pierogi-making destination.

Courtyard and Spoons to start, Golden Fleece, King’s Arms, Ye Olde Starre Inn, and Snickleway Inn.🧿🍺
Some of us may be going to Spoons again, and potentially Ziggy’s!

We are nearing one of the most important days in Polish history - Independence Day!!! 🇵🇱🦅

This year we will be doing a buffet-style dinner, with our lovely president hosting at his house 🥳

We will meet in Glasshouse on Campus East, and then will slowly make our way over to the main location.
