Sometimes grief catches us in the most ordinary moments.

Making a cup of tea. Hearing a familiar song. Walking past somewhere you used to go together. Or seeing something that you know would have made them laugh.

There is no warning. No particular reason. Just a moment when their absence feels that little bit heavier.

And sometimes, those same moments bring comfort. A memory that makes us smile, even when we wish more than anything that they were still here.

Because it’s often in the smallest, most ordinary parts of life that we notice just how much someone meant to us.

And how much they still do. 💙

Market Weighton Bereavement Group – Today

It’s the first Monday of the month, which means we’re back together in Market Weighton.

No pressure to talk. No need to explain how you’re feeling. Just come along, have a cuppa and spend some time with people who understand that grief doesn’t follow a timetable.
