York Sea Cadets Welcome to York Sea Cadets

Based in Skeldergate, we meet on Monday and Friday evenings

York Sea Cadets is a registered charity and uniformed youth organisation dedicated to the development of young people here in the York area. Based upon the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy we are led by a dedicated group of adult volunteers. We run a Junior Section for 10 & 11 year olds, and Sea Cadets are aged 12 - 18. The Sea Cadets has amazing opportunities for personal development - by

learning new skills and working in teams - we offer an environment where young people gain confidence and find inspiration. Where possible cadets can gain recognised qualifications in boating, adventure training, first aid and even BTEC qualifications and the Duke of Edinburgh award. Alternatively, if you are an adult, over 18 and would be interested in volunteering at our unit then please get in touch.

We were able to collect 35 selection boxes! As well as many cupboard items that will be used to support the people who need it most.
