WHO IS BOBBY-UGO?
Bobby-Ugo Ebikpoemi is a native of Sabagreia, Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State and a philanthropist who has been touching lives in different ways.
Bobby-Ugo believes that you don’t have to have everything before you can help someone. To him, giving comes from having a genuine and kind heart. From the little God has blessed him with, he has continued to extend a helping hand to people around him.
So, what impact has Bobby-Ugo made in society?
1. SUPPORT FOR WIDOWS
Through the Bobby-Ugo Charity Foundation , he has been supporting widows and helping them in different ways. He believes that people going through difficult times should not be left alone when there is something we can do to help.
2. GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
Bobby-Ugo also built a mini pavilion at the football field serving the Okoloba/Sabagreia communities.
For years, the Christmas Committee had to rent chairs and canopies whenever they organized their football tournament and other activities. Bobby-Ugo saw this and said, “I cannot just sit and watch my community continue to face this challenge when I can do something about it.”
He decided to build the pavilion so that community members can have a comfortable place to sit and watch football and also use it during other community activities.
That is what giving back to your community looks like.
3. SUPPORTING STUDENTS
Bobby-Ugo understands the importance of education. He believes that when you invest in the education of a child, you are investing in the future.
He has supported several students with WAEC scholarships, especially children whose parents may find it difficult to raise the money needed for their education.
He believes that no child should be denied the opportunity to continue their education simply because their parents cannot afford the expenses.
4. LEARNING MATERIALS
His support for education does not stop with scholarships.
Bobby-Ugo has also provided learning materials to students in both primary and secondary schools. His belief is that when children have the right learning materials and the opportunity to receive a good education, society benefits in the long run.
5. MEDICAL SUPPORT
Bobby-Ugo has also been there for people facing health challenges. He has supported sick patients financially, helping to reduce the burden of medical bills and treatment expenses.
These are just some of the ways Bobby-Ugo has been contributing to society.
He may not have everything, but he has continued to give from the little God has blessed him with. And sometimes, it is not about how much you have; it is about the lives you are willing to touch with what you have.
Through the Bobby-Ugo Charity Foundation, he continues to support widows, students, sick people, and the community at large.
