AgriEcology makes the Australian press 🇦🇺🦘

Australia’s largest agricultural publication recently contacted us requesting an interview as they had seen our post offering a free thermal drone search service for lost livestock in the Yorkshire region.

The small teams at AgriPest and AgriEcology work tirelessly to support local communities but we never expected to get the word out ‘down under’

We have offered a flying demonstration providing all expenses are covered 😜

🌱Wildlife survey🌱
The AgriEcology team have been carrying out a ground impact assessment and wildlife survey.

Impact assessment are crucial to determine the levels of pest activity and damage to the local Flora, once an assessment has been completed we can determine whether or not a control treatment is necessary.

Rabbits proved to be enemy number one here causing significant damage to plant and hedge saplings with over 270 damaged by rabbits, this damage will prevent the saplings reaching maturity.

This prolonged period of snow and ice has meant many of Yorkshire’s farmers have been unable to access their livestock, we have also seen reports of trapped sheep and lost livestock.
The AgriPest team are keen to help and are offering our services to track, count and locate missing livestock utilising our thermal equipment and atv’s for accessing remote locations.
This snow and ice is unlikely to shift for another 3-4 days, for many farmers livestock it will be too late by then.
Please help us get this message out, there will be NO CHARGE for our services.

The AgriEcology team where delighted to be asked by the UK's largest suppliers of pest control supplies and equipment to carry out a demonstration and talk on the effects and importance of conducting wildlife surveys and studies before a treatment is undertaken.
