The extreme end of Jenga Pot. It feels a long way from home here, 2 hours in beyond three sumps, low airspace ducks and endless mud.. but its great and has suddenly become a lot easier!

210m more cave passage for Excalibur Pot 😍

It's been 17 years since we last surveyed the up-stream area of Excalibur and thought this end of the cave was done. Just goes to show, a little push and there's more to find!

Excalibur streamway extended!

With other projects paused, attention returned to Excalibur Pot, where a team revisited areas first explored in 2007. Newcomers Dylan and Chris pushed through tight passages and rediscovered forgotten leads, ultimately extending the surveyed streamway by 30–50 meters. Their efforts revealed two promising crawl-sized inlets heading toward the top sinks.

Sparky’s nearby dig also showed strong potential, with a good draught and progress into blank survey territory. The trip proved that fresh eyes and fearless cavers can still uncover exciting new ground in familiar caves.
