A Timebank is a way for you to get involved in your community & be rewarded for it – in time credits. Everyone’s time is valued equally. For every hour you give helping someone, you receive one time credit to 'spend' on the help you need. Whatever your skills, Timebanking is a great way to share and make a difference in your community. Learn new skills, receive free help from your fellow Timebanke
rs, and help those who need it most. Time credits are banked on a computer for you to spend when you need. You can also give them away to another individual member, donate them to a community organisation member of your choice, or swap them for a leisure activity at Energise. York Timebank in Tang Hall is a new branch of this great organisation, and actually covers the whole east area of the city. Join us if you would like to help, or just want to find out more.
