Shipton by Beningbrough Shipton by Beningbrough is a village, just north of the city of York along the A19. Scheduled buses to York, Easingwold & surrounding villages.

Early years & primary Schools, Petrol 24/7, Shop, Village Hall, multiple Cafรฉ, Restaurants, Pub & a Hotel. There are many attractions and dining facilities, including a large country pub-restaurant called the Dawnay Arms and the El Treno Greek-Italian restaurant which is coupled with the unique Sidings Hotel created from historic railway carriages. Also the village offers a Community Centre which

hosts a wide variety of activities such as Dog Training, Badminton, Fitness, Dance and Music practice, as well as parties, fundraisers and other events. The Church Of England holds regular services in Shipton. The Forest of Galtres Primary School looks after children in Shipton and surrounding villages. Shipton is home to and nurtures many small and large local businesses.

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Scarecrow trail maps available from the Community Centre

Then, from **4pm**, join us at **The Dawnay Arms Pub** for the BBQ, raffle and prize-giving!

Would you like to enter a scarecrow, reserve a stall or enter the childrenโ€™s bake-off?
