Dr Liliya Makovskaya from Westminster International University in Tashkent Uzbekistan reflects on how applying for Advance HE Senior Fellowship encouraged her to critically evaluate over 15 years of professional practice in higher education.

Delivered in partnership with the University of London, day 1 of our Governance CPD: Student Governor Programme supports participants to:
• Develop a stronger understanding of higher education governance and governing bodies
• Build confidence in challenging, questioning and contributing to discussions
• Strengthen their ability to influence decision-making and represent the student voice effectively
• Learn from governance experts and connect with peers from across the sector
