A reminder to check in on the people around you, not just today, but always. Sometimes the smallest gesture, a text, a call, a simple “how are you, really?” can mean more than we know.

This matters especially for LGBTQ+ people, who face disproportionately higher rates of suicidal ideation due to stigma, discrimination, and lack of support.

“We’ve seen, as we look around the world and as we look around our own country, that progress isn’t always linear. Progress has to be fought for and has to be won”.
“We’re seeing attacks on our communities at home and abroad, and it’s important that we stand together, that everyone feels safe, that there’s no room for hatred”.
“And that message especially also goes out to our trans communities, who are feeling particularly under threat at the moment.
