THE NEW STEPS & GATE ARE OFFICIALLY OPEN!

Access the playing field from Boroughbridge Road with ease and enjoy your walk.

Exciting news from the field!!

Starting on Monday 2nd Feb, work will commence to replace the old stile entrance to the playing field on Boroughbridge Road with a self close wooden gate and new purpose built steps. This should be a significant improvement to make access to the field from that entrance far easier.

However while the work is carried out, that entrance will be CLOSED so please do not attempt to enter the field from Boroughbridge Road until the work is complete.

We anticipate (weather dependent) it will only take 1 week but will notify again on Facebook and the plinth notice board once it’s officially open. Thank you for your patience during this time.

Important info for Dog walkers:
GH Cricket Club will be spraying chemicals on the cricket square this Saturday after junior football (8th November). If walking on the playing field, we recommend keeping all dogs on leads (and away from the cricket square) until Monday at the earliest.
