The count down to Christmas has very much begun, The children are excited ☃️
Today we’ve been making snowballs and having fun with our messy tray!
Frosty won’t be around for too long as it’s toasty inside ha ha !

We had a wonderful Christmassy afternoon with our children singing carols !

It’s all things Halloween in preschool this week. We are scooping and stirring seeds, beans and grains into the cauldron to make soups and potions; we’re making yummy and yukky foods in our spooky kitchen using our play food with some added creepy crawlies; practicing our cutting skills on some ghostly shapes; and role playing spooky characters with some Halloween masks 🎃👻🕷️

We’re fully embracing Autumn, here at preschool. The children have been busy creating autumn trees for our display by printing with apples picked during the harvest. They’ve also painted some of the woodland creatures that we see around this time too.

We’ve been for a lovely autumn walk, this afternoon, to spot all the changes that are happening outside.

The children loved spotting apples growing in the trees, conkers falling on the ground and the leaves changing colour.

Perhaps you could go for an autumn walk and see what seasonal changes you can spot.
