Trainee Lilly thinks that her placement at Yorkshire Cancer Research will be helpful as all profits from the shop support cancer research in Yorkshire. Her favourite fact about Yorkshire ….Its the UK’s largest county and is actually divided into four separate counties: North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

If that wasn’t enough, these vast expanses are home to one-third of all the National Parks in England. God’s own country hosts the North York Moors, the Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District.

Our great friends at Books & Bevs York are hosting a night of gentle Acoustic Folk songs this Friday. We love working in partnership with them and know they will host a good evening. There Cafe will be open, see below for details

We have Chris Beckett at Books & Bevs from 7pm for an evening of gentle acoustic folk songs in celebration of his latest album release, with support from Steve Lyons!
