We had a good meeting on Saturday. John Bell was our speaker and he was such a blessing. We experienced a great move of the Holy Spirit throughout our time of fellowship, worship and during the time of ministry. John spoke on his experiences in the past and how God used a period of unemployment when he had a temporary job as a tuner for Channel 5 to evangelise all those whose homes he went into and bring many to Christ. He clarified how God can turn all things, even hard times that we encounter in life to good and use them for his purposes. We then had a wonderful time of ministry when several were touched by the Holy Spirit, and one lady was healed of trauma.

Our next meeting is on April 19.

We had a good meeting on Saturday full of blessing and encouragement! Debbie Banda was our speaker and we experienced a great move of the Holy Spirit throughout our time of fellowship, worship and during the time of ministry.

Debbie spoke on 2 Kings 4, in particular the account of the widow being saved from debt due to a miracle of provision, multiple jars of oil filled to overflowing by the power of God. As a result of this miracle she was then able to pay off her debts by selling all the oil.

Debbie drew a parallel between this miracle performed by the prophet Elisha and Jesus desiring to fill all of us to overflowing with His Holy Spirit. She demonstrated this by filling four empty cups with a glass of water and asked the question: are we ready and willing to be an empty vessel ready to be filled by the Lord? We then had a wonderful time of ministry.

Our next meeting will be on 20th March when our speaker will be John Bell.
