One whole year of florable with us!

If you don’t know, Florable is run by Yas, who brings us curated vintage and Y2K bits from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. She got into vintage by raiding her mum’s iconic wardrobe back in the day, mostly because high street stuff just wasn’t cutting it.

To mark one year here, she’s doing a full day of surprise bundles, discounts, and goodies this Sunday (today), plus an after party from 5pm in WORK.

Pop down, grab a bit of vintage, and have a cosmopolitan. It’s what Carrie Bradshaw would want. x

October is packed, starting with Oktoberfest TONIGHT!! It’s full-on cosy season, and something is happening pretty much every night of the week.

This month, we’ve got some exciting creative events happening in our WORK space: creative writing with Chloe Hanks and our first-ever Sketch Social with Where Friends Grow | Nature & Craft Community CIC.

Half-term is coming up towards the end of the month, from 26 October, and as a reminder, we will be open all 7 days for family-friendly activities, food, drinks, and more. Full programming coming soon.

First full week back under the roof and it’s been proper lovely. Thanks to everyone who helped with both launch weekends, there was lots and lots of talent on display!!

Big love to everyone who came out for the first weekend of Raise the Roof. This Friday we welcome _jono_dj, Bonnie and Ro Ro to the PicTap terrace to kick off the second weekend.

The coming days are all about community and giving back, with so proceeds from Wednesday’s Quingo going to Refugee Action York - RAY and Saturday and Sunday event proceeds going to The Hanoon Foundation.

On Saturday, we’re hosting a double documentary screening of the Oscar-winning No Other Land (2024) and Gaza (2019) from 5pm, followed by a short Q&A with Manal Massalha Khaled Dawas . Ticketholders get 20% off at Waqif Arabian Kitchen during the dinner break.

Then on Sunday, Teapot Collective are taking over the SHOW space for a guided breathwork and meditation session, followed by a light community lunch.
