Door 84 Youth & Community Centre Door 84 is a Registered Charity (1203574) Door 84 moved to our current premises in Lowther Street in 1969.

The charity has developed and grown, building a strong reputation and track-record as a trusted provider of high-quality services for children, young people and the local community. We provide opportunities and space for people to come together, achieve their potential and lead happy, safe and fulfilled lives. Services we offer;

Live Artist Commission!

As part of the 'Groves Community Improvement Drive' project, Door 84, in partnership with local businesses and stakeholders, are commissioning a new mural to transform the side of a commercial building on Lowther Street.

Full details of the commission, and how to submit an application, can be found by visiting the 'latest news' section on our website (link below). The deadline for applications is 11.59pm on Sunday 28th June 2026.

The project has been funded by phase 3 of the 'Vibrant and Sustainable High Street Fund', provided by the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority.
