We’re off to Alexandra Palace!
Join us at Knit+Stitch London, 8–11 October, where you’ll find The Quilters’ Guild at Stand K28.

Throughout the show, we’ll be running FREE drop-in sit-and-sew sessions. No booking needed, and everyone is welcome, whatever your age or experience.

Beyond the Bedspread: Journeys in Fabric and Stitch by Sheena Norquay

If you’re in the Highlands this autumn, Sheena Norquay’s exhibition Beyond the Bedspread is well worth adding to your diary.

Featuring a wonderfully varied selection of her work, the exhibition explores journeys in fabric and stitch through scrap pieces and wholecloths, birds and beaches, Norse mythology, African inspirations and more.

A major new offering for Guild members

After a suggestion from a couple of our international members – to whom we are very grateful- we have created a permanent open link to Zoom, which members can join, either day or night.
So, if you are having an issue with your stitching, a problem with your patchwork, or just want to have a chat with a like-minded person, you can drop into our Zoom Room and have a chinwag.

Of course, we can’t guarantee someone will always be there to chat, but it only takes a few seconds to open the Zoom link and see if anyone else is there.

This room will be unmonitored – staff members may pop by occasionally – but this is meant to be a space for members to meet other members and maybe get to know someone you have never met before.

As the room will be unmonitored, we ask you to kindly observe the following guidelines:
Be respectful to others – allow everyone the space to speak
Mute your microphone when you are not speaking
Keep your camera on
Remember the topic is patchwork and quilting

We hope you enjoy this new venture, don’t worry, it won’t be replacing any of our other Zoom offerings. Regional and S.I.G. Zoom meetings, the Loft, Coffee with Carol etc will all continue as normal.

For security reasons, the Zoom link will be held in the member’s area on the Guild website, so you will need to log in to access the link.
