York IVC Welcome to Social Yorkies - IVC, the fun and friendly social club for people of all ages!

The club is non-profit making and is run by its members for its members. Some events, in particular club nights and other events aimed at prospective members, are run by the committee. Our monthly clubnights are good opportunities for any potential/prospective new members to come along and find out more about the club. These usually held on a weekend in a central pub in York and are informal gathe

rings where we meet up, have a drink and get to know each other. Club nights are generally well attended and are a good way to get a feel for the Club and its membership.

Saul is a charming, bizarre and hilarious high energy comic who has performed several hundred gigs but stopped counting some time ago, he's been performing paid opening and middle spots for over two years.

He is currently performing his second solo stand-up show ‘Stuff Like That There' at several festivals and events across the country. This follows the success of his 2023 show ‘Saullelujah!’ - described by David Firth (Salad Fingers creator) as “Lovely, comfy and harrowingly mirthful”.

Get ready for an evening filled with laughter and fun on Sunday, 27th October.

Our doors open at 7:30pm, and the show kicks off at 8:00pm, running for approximately 2 - 2.25 hours including 2 breaks for drinks, refreshments and chatting.

We have 5 amazing comedians ready to make your Sunday evening more fun!

Tickets start from £15 each and Tables (up to 3 people) are £40 each. Tickets and tables are limited, so don't miss out!

Performed solo shows at Leicester, Glasgow, Brighton & Nottingham Fringe/Comedy festivals. Have provided Leeds tour support for Andrew O’Neill, performed both open and closing spots for Blizzard Comedy in Manchester & Andy Quirk in Glossop.

Performed middle spots for Comedy Cask, Leeds Comedy Project, The Lovely Boys, Lolchevism & ACID in Leeds, and Square Hole Comedy in Sheffield. Andrew also runs comedy nights in Leeds.
