Great to see you both and THANK YOU for your sponsorship of our Dragon Boat Challenge event…

CRITICS ARE CALLING IT THE CINEMATIC EVENT OF THE YEAR.

(The critics are us. We stand by it.)

This Sunday, 12th July, 19 rowers climb back into a dragon boat on the River Ouse for the York Rotary Dragon Boat Race, in aid of The Nikki Waterhouse Trust.

Nineteen brave rowers. One boat. A challenge that will genuinely change lives forever.

We can promise you the paddling will be dramatic, the coordination questionable, and the flag-waving entirely unnecessary but non-negotiable. What we can't promise is that anyone stays dry.

Last year, this team finished as the event's top fundraiser raising vital funds that changes the lives of families and children all in the name of Nikki. We're back to try and go one better and win the whole race and we can't do it without you.

Your donations truly go "Beyond the Ouse" and whilst we have a lot of fun on the day, we do this to make a difference to real families right across the UK, so for every laugh, every smile we bring to your face, turn that into a donation and everyone wins.

Come and heckle us from the riverbank, or back us from a safe distance. There's still time to donate here:https://yorkrotary.enthuse.com/pf/canoe-believe-it

Thank you for being part of the production - we'll see you on the Ouse on Sunday.

Thank you to York Rotary, UK who donated £500 for our children and young people's group, Club Wilber.

We are very grateful to them and particularly as their application process was simple to use and their decision was very quick. This money enables us to continue with our brilliant activities and events for these families, giving opportunities for fun and new experiences for the whole family to enjoy.

Thank you!
