Could you be our next principal cornet or kit player? York RI Golden Rail Band has new player vacancies and if you’ve got relevant experience we would love to hear from you!
We are a non-contesting community brass band based in central York, adjacent to York station, and we rehearse Tuesdays 7-9pm. We have a healthy schedule of engagements throughout the year.

Pop down tomorrow (Thursday 6th August) between 7:30pm and 8:30pm for a relaxed evening of music and sunset vibes. 🌅

We'll be at the amphitheatre with plenty of space for picnics, chairs, and the all-important dance floor! 💃🧺🍷

What a night! 🎷✨ We had the absolute best time supporting .band at The Crescent last night!

​We also said a fond farewell to ._how on trumpet. Thank you Alex for bringing the disco sparkle to every set. Best of luck on your next chapter. Miss you already!! 🍻🎺🕺

What an absolutely amazing evening....it certainly was A Not So Silent Night with over 50 players, 2 conductors, 3 singers, 2 fiddle players and 2 drummers! Thanks to the amazing volunteers who make this event happen, the audience who bring the vibe and this years collaborators for bringing a banging set of brass band tunes! 🎄🎺🎵🥁🍻🥳
