One of our schemes in Northumberland has been given a colourful new look thanks to the incredible creativity of one of our residents.

A passionate bus enthusiast, they have proudly created and displayed a fantastic collection of bus-themed artwork throughout the property for everyone to enjoy.

Their detailed drawings have brought colour, character, and a personal touch to the environment, while providing a wonderful opportunity to share their interests with fellow residents, staff, and visitors.

We're proud to showcase their talent and creativity around the service, and we love seeing the positive impact their artwork has on everyone who visits.

We're delighted to see how well Malwina has settled into her new home since moving in during June 2026.

Since then, Malwina has enrolled in college and is excited to learn new skills, gain new experiences and continue developing herself both personally and academically.

We are incredibly proud of her positive attitude, determination, and commitment to achieving her goals, and we look forward to supporting her on her journey every step of the way.

Residents and staff enjoyed a fantastic End of Summer Ball on Friday, filled with fun, laughter and memorable moments.

Everyone dressed up for the occasion, with one resident taking on DJ duties and keeping the party going with a great selection of music, while another joined in the celebrations alongside the mascot, Mr. V.

Residents also had the opportunity to pose for photos with luxury cars adding a touch of glamour to the event. To make the day even more special, staff shared dishes from their different cultures giving everyone the chance to try a variety of delicious foods from around the world.

A wonderful event that brought everyone together to celebrate community, friendship, and diversity.

Richard, a tenant at one our Nottinghamshire schemes recently took on the care of a young kitten after she was left without her mother.

Providing around-the-clock care during her early weeks, Richard ensured she received the attention and nurturing she needed to thrive. Now named Tiger, the kitten has grown significantly and become a much-loved companion.

Richard has shared that caring for Tiger has had a positive impact on his mental wellbeing, helping to establish routine, encourage daily activity and provide a sense of responsibility and purpose.

We're delighted to see the positive difference this experience has made for both Richard and Tiger, demonstrating how companionship can support wellbeing, confidence and independence.

At Inclusion Housing, we know that people's needs can change over time. That's why we aim to provide flexible accommodation options that help tenants remain settled, supported, and independent.

Recently, Dean moved from the main building into one of our bungalows to better meet his mobility needs. The move allowed him to stay in a familiar environment, continue receiving support from the same care team, and enjoy a home that offers more space and comfort.

Dean says he's especially enjoying having his own private garden and the extra room to move around independently.

It's wonderful to see how a simple change within the same service can have such a positive impact on someone's wellbeing and quality of life.

We're incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of Harlum, one of our tenants, who recently won 1st place in the 2026 English Para Surfing Open at Fistral Beach.

Harlum and his dad travelled to Fistral Beach, where he competed against a strong field of talented surfers. Taking to the waves with determination and skill, Harlum secured the top spot in the competition, an outstanding achievement.

Harlum is also inspiring the next generation by visiting local schools and sharing his story. Through his talks, he speaks openly about living with a disability and demonstrates how it has never held him back from pursuing his ambitions and achieving success.

Congratulations, Harlum. Your determination, resilience and positive attitude make you a fantastic role model, and we're proud to have you as part of our community.

Our tenants at Sheehan Court have been getting creative by decorating beautiful positivity pebbles, and it’s safe to say they’ve been a huge hit!

The whole service has got involved, with everyone creating their own unique designs. From colourful patterns and characters to uplifting messages, every pebble reflects the creativity and personality of the people who made them.

The special “Welcome to Sheehan Court” pebbles have now been proudly displayed at the front of the building, where they’ve already attracted lots of lovely comments and positive attention from neighbours and visitors.

It’s amazing how something so simple can bring smiles, spark conversations and create a real sense of pride in the community. A fantastic effort by everyone involved – well done!

One of our residents in Bedworth has been working hard to build her self-confidence and meet new people.

Addison has joined up to do the couch to 5K. She is doing fantastic at this and goes out daily to train. She is also encouraging the other residents in the scheme to be more involved in group activities and trips out. She recently has been helping staff to plan tenants’ meetings and excursions for all to be involved in. These have included BBQs, Bowling trips, and sewing clubs.

Jon from Quadrant House created an impressive Predator costume for Comic Con entirely by himself. He has also shared some exciting news: Monopoly Events has contacted him and asked him to work with them. Jon has chosen to volunteer for now, which they have agreed to, and he is really looking forward to the opportunity.

Jon only began learning costume-making in the past 12 months, and the quality of his work clearly shows he has a natural talent.

Residents at Keller Court have transformed the communal garden borders into a thriving growing space, planting strawberries, rhubarb, and colourful flowers.

To encourage their love of gardening, our Managing Agent, Ash, used HomeLife Fund support to buy a new greenhouse and a range of seeds for residents to grow.

We look forward to seeing the garden flourish in the months ahead – and enjoying the fruits of the residents’ hard work.
