Good afternoon everyone. I would like to introduce myself. I am Linda Lawcock the new Regional Coach. I am based at Doncaster SAC. The role of the coach is changing slightly from how it has operated in the past. No doubt HQ will update Branches and members accordingly.
I have 6 projects to deliver in my first year. I have the topics but how they are delivered across Yorkshire may depend on a little support from all branches and members. Because this is your Region a proud Yorkshire Region and hopefully these projects will deliver topics that you will be interested in or help to give me ideas for a different slant on things.
Please get in touch with ideas that you think we should focus on. Yes the theory and technical/practical side is very important but it should also be fun. I’ve been diving 25 years and had some great times. So looking forward to meeting lots of you at a club night (if you want to invite me?😂) or out diving. I’m here to help as much as I can or as you want me to. Safe diving everyone.
