Welcome to Indie York Royal Mile Whiskies We’re delighted to welcome you as our newest member of the Indie York community ♡

✶ With a story that began on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile back in 1991, this independent wh**ky specialist has now found a home on Coney Street, right in the heart of York. And what a fitting location! Once known as York’s Golden Half Mile, Coney Street is the perfect spot for this latest chapter in the Royal Mile Whiskies story.

Managed by Lee, the shop is all about sharing a passion for great wh**ky, with a carefully curated selection ranging from everyday favourites to unusual and hard-to-find bottles and full of independent producers.

Whether you’re a seasoned wh**ky enthusiast or simply curious to discover something new, pop in and say hello. Lee and the team look forward to helping you find your next favourite dram.

The warmest of welcomes to our newest Indie York member, LICC York an Indian summer is on its way, we think that’s the perfect excuse for ice cream🍦

✰ Handmade gelato, shakes, floats and the home of York’s original frozen bananas, The Luxury Ice Cream Company is bringing plenty of deliciousness to the city.

✰ With 24 different flavours available, including an extensive range of vegan options and sorbets, there’s always something new to discover alongside old favourites.

✰ A presence at York’s Christmas Market

And, of course, being part of the best independent business community in our city.
