After watching the Celebrity Traitors, our mannequin has had a little Claudia Winkleman inspired makeover!

If you love Claudia's signature look, you might want to pick up a pair of our fingerless gloves, they are perfect for the upcoming Winter months. We have a variety of different colours and styles in store for you to browse.

Tickets are now available for our Christmas Wonderland event on November 29th! This event will take place in The Leveson Centre from 10am-4pm.

Each ticket costs £5 per child for a 90 minute slot, which includes a visit to Father Christmas, a chance to purchase a gift from Elfridges, and some Christmas craft making.

An additional ticket to Elfridges can be purchased for £3 which entitles your child to purchase one extra gift.

This Summer, our CEO Andy sat down with Professor Will Brackenbury, Director of the Jack Birch Unit. They discussed the longstanding partnership between York Against Cancer and the JBU.

Our connection with the Jack Birch Unit goes back more than 30 years, when York Against Cancer funded its opening. We’re proud to continue raising vital funds to support this important research and help make a difference for many years to come.

Andy says, “It’s a true collaborative partnership, and collaboration is one of my favourite ways of working. When you do it properly, it’s powerful, we have an opportunity for our partnership to do just this.”

This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Breast cancer is when abnormal cells in the breast begin to grow and divide in an uncontrolled way. It’s the most common cancer in the UK. It mainly affects women, but men can get it too.

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. If you have recently received a diagnosis, or are waiting for test results and would like some support, please pop into The Leveson Centre for a chat.

Last Monday, The Leveson Centre had the honor of hosting the launch of ‘Yorkshire’s Finest’ by David Charles. We are so pleased to finally release this book to the public, it has been over 10 years in the making!

The evening was an absolute success and we were so excited to be joined by some famous faces who are featured in the book, including Tommy Cannon and Bill Nelson.
