Yesterday was the launch of an important research project about 'York Tourism Impact and Community-Led Solutions' — a collaborative project with Good Organisation Social Ventures York St John University York Business School and Institute for Social Justice YSJ.
It delves and explores how York residents experience and promotes local building. By engaging with the community is there a way to balance the local and visitor expectations? How have other popular destinations coped with and the impacts on accommodation and extraction of wealth.

The event was a culmination of the past few months where we've been helping in a creative capacity to make all the elements of the findings accessible for all in a lo-fi zine format, visually compressing the key data and busy on post-production of the documentary recordings of local York residents.
