This week we wanted to share some feedback we've received from Change Grow Live about our Volunteer Centre.

“We’ve used the CVS website on several occasions now to broaden the circulation of our volunteer recruitment campaigns. The process is simple and it’s if free of charge. We’ll certainly be using it again in the future – thanks for this great service which really helps charities in York who are seeking volunteers. For anyone looking for a volunteering role, I’d really recommend having a look at what’s available on the CVS website.”

This Volunteers' Week we wanted to share some feedback we've received from a brilliant organisation we work with Barnardo's.

Barnardo's help children and young people feel safer, happier, healthier, and more hopeful.

They've said:
"The Barnardo's retail store in Acomb, York has seen a real increase in volunteering hours within the last 6 months and we would like to say massive thank you to the York CVS team for supporting us to advertise our volunteering opportunities online and at the recent volunteer recruitment fair!

As well as raising funds for children, young people and families across the UK through sales- both the York stores have been able to directly support their local children's services, around the Christmas period and through creating craft packs. None of this would be possible without our amazing team of volunteers!"
