A Wonderful Afternoon at Tolethorpe Hall
On Sunday 19th July, our u3a Theatre Group enjoyed a fantastic summer outing to Tolethorpe Hall to see the hilarious One Man, Two Guvnors.

Members made the most of the beautiful surroundings, enjoying either a leisurely picnic in the grounds or a delicious pre-theatre lunch at the Fig Tree Restaurant before the performance.

The production was packed with laugh-out-loud moments, fast-paced slapstick comedy, and brilliantly choreographed physical humour. The cast's outstanding comic timing kept everyone thoroughly entertained, with special praise for the actor playing Alfie, whose larger-than-life performance stole the show!

Tolethorpe Hall once again proved why it's one of our favourite summer theatre venues, offering outstanding open-air theatre in a truly beautiful setting.

What a fantastic afternoon at The Choir of Man!

Our Theatre Group enjoyed this unique West End hit, set entirely inside a working pub where an incredibly talented nine-man cast combined stunning vocals, infectious humour and spectacular choreography.

From breathtaking performances of Somebody to Love to unforgettable tap dancing across the bar, the show celebrated friendship, community and the joy of live music. A truly different and thoroughly entertaining theatre experience!
