We had a fantastic and busy three days on the North Yorkshire roadshow organised by Open North Yorkshire this week, where we took our family try-out, pedal powered music player and bubble frog to three primary schools in the region, where 517 young people took part.

These schools were chosen for going above and beyond to promote active and sustainable travel within their schools and communities.

With thanks and congratulations to Brompton Community Primary School in Northallerton, Willow Tree Primary in Harrogate and Northstead Community Primary School in Scarborough for having us, and to all the pupils for engaging so wonderfully, and generally having a really fun time, while learning how to cycle safe on a range of different types of bike.

We were thrilled to receive this feedback from the SENDCo and Assistant Headteacher at Willow Tree Primary:

"Thank you so much for such an amazing day yesterday! The children were buzzing when they left school because they had had such a brilliant day.
Thank you for organising such a wonderful opportunity for us!"

Additional thanks to Open North Yorkshire and to North Yorkshire Council for inviting us to be part of the roadshow - we loved every minute!
