Community Bees CIC was founded in 2019 to support people experiencing isolation, loneliness and hoarding in York.
This flat is one of the homes we've recently worked in. While the before and after photos show a physical transformation, they only tell a small part of the story.
Behind every room is a person who may have lost confidence, felt overwhelmed, or struggled to see a way forward. That's where our work begins.
We never judge. We put people first.
We work alongside people in their own homes wherever possible, building trust and supporting them at a pace that feels right for them. We don't simply clear spaces — we provide emotional support, advocacy, practical help and encouragement every step of the way. Consent is always at the heart of what we do.
Our team arrive with compassion, patience and open hearts. Our goal is not just to create a safer home, but to help someone feel proud of their space again and hopeful about the future.
Because everyone deserves a fresh start and no one should have to face it alone. 💛
