We are delighted to be joined by who are now running the cafe at Oaken Grove Community Centre.

They are starting with a relatively small menu but will be expanding it to accommodate needs soon. Opening hours are still being determined but we hope to be able to share this with you as soon as possible.

If you haven't already, do pop in see how they have transformed the cafe space and enjoy a cuppa or a cookie.

Please email [email protected] with your availablity and we will get in touch.

Did you know that Oaken Grove Community Centre is managed by a small local charity? Haxby & Wigginton Youth & Community Association was formed in 1998, and the community centre building was then acquired in 2004 as a base for the youth group and a base for socially isolated individuals.

The Youth provision has been a central part of the charity's activities since, continuing to work towards stemming the rise in anti-social behaviour in the villages.

We might be halfway through the year, but there are still many opportunities to raise vital funds for Haxby & Wiggington Youth & Community Association (registered charity number 1105675).

If you are inspired from the recent Haxby 10k Road Race, why not see if there are any other local races you could sign up to. 🏃‍♀️

Plus if you would like to choose us as your chosen charity, please get in touch, as we are able to obtain reduced places on races.
