Help Brings Hope Empowering lives with essentials food, clothing, furniture, & more.Helping all, regardless of background WHAT DO WE DO? FIND OUT MORE ABOUT POPPY'S PERSONAL STORY.

Are you aware of the work we do at Help Bring Hope, the essential items we distribute, or the people we support? There are many reasons why individuals need our help, and Poppy's story is just one example. Poppy, a single mother, was relocated to temporary accommodation after escaping an abusive relationship. She was scared, feeling vulnerable, and struggling to care for her young baby. It was her

first time hearing about us. Poppy initially contacted Help Bring Hope after being moved into a local hostel with her family. She had fled domestic violence and was left with nothing for herself or her baby. That night, she was panic-stricken and scared, having no food, diapers, or formula for her baby. We ensured she received the necessary items without having to venture out at night, recognizing her fear and loneliness. I understood her situation intimately, having been a victim of domestic violence myself. My empathy helped Poppy feel more comfortable opening up to me. At Help Bring Hope, we provided Poppy with clothing, food, toiletries, and bedding, ensuring she and her baby had access to essential items. Now, in 2021, Poppy is moving into a flat with her baby, marking a fresh start for both. We are honored to have been part of their journey. Before saying goodbye, we will present Poppy and her baby with a final gift, ensuring they have the best possible start in their new home. We will continue to support them as they settle into their new life. Please note that Poppy's name has been changed to protect her identity.
