Once again, we're cycling 42 miles for Cycle 42 for Cancer on 13 September 2026.

This time we have a full team!
Tony Pounder, Martin, Tom and Ben Kearvell, Mark Buchanan, Mark Rogers, Nathan Groves and Jason Dobson.

We've all been impacted by Prostate Cancer over the years, directly or indirectly, and this is just another chance to give something back to NHS Somerset.

Any donation is gratefully received - we know the charity bucket gets passed around a lot but cancer never stops and neither should we.

We are looking forward to working with you all and seeing the positive impact this partnership will have for our patients.

The final figure is in for our fundraiser on Saturday..
We raised a staggering £2,102.39 for Prostate Cancer thanks to Lisa and the entire team at the Prince of Wales Pub Ham Hill

Big shout to STORM and D-State for passing the bucket around at their Sunday gig too 🎸

Most of all, huge thanks to everyone who supported us on the day by contributing something to the pot

We will let you know how the money is spent within the heart of our local community 💜💜

Our heartfelt thanks to Lisa and the whole team at the Prince of Wales Pub Ham Hill for letting us be this year’s chosen beneficiary at their Festival on Saturday

We raised an enormous £2,055.31 and Storm and D-State are still collecting in one bucket today!

Thank you also to Elvis, Dolly, Tina and to everyone who gave so generously on the day 💜

Big shout to the members of our Somerset Support Groups who turned out to help on the day.
This money will directly support our local Uro-Oncology teams at Yeovil Hospital and help to keep growing our groups in Langport and Yeovil and across Somerset

We're providing more free men's sanitary products thanks to Dom and the team at Odcombe Garden

Not something us old guys usually talk about and never ask for but it's surprising how quickly these get used.

Our two Somerset support groups are open to anyone on the PC journey. Just come along to one of our meetings, or send us an email at the addresses on the poster 💜

We have been speaking with the lovely Martin who leads a support group in Yeovil for those who are affected by prostate cancer. I have added his information below if anyone would like to contact him.

Martin has kindly given us men’s sanitary products to store in Odcombe Garden’s toilets for those to use free of charge. Discreet disposal facilities are also available.
