Wow, what a day!!
Our first Carvery at the Hall was fabulous. Almost 100 meals over 2 sittings with amazing feedback and some suggestions plus lessons learned to improve next time. We had a ball and yes, there is a very high chance it will happen again later in the year (not every week as was suggested- sorry!)so if you did miss out this time keep an eye out for further announcements.

Fantastic to see our hall being used today by teams of scouts from across the district for the annual masterchef competition. Congratulations to West Coker for retaining the trophy again this year.

Looking forward to seeing all the beavers, cubs, scouts and leaders over the next few days as we sort the cards ready for routes to gr handed put Friday and delivered over the weekend

Cards need to be placed in boxes by end of tomorrow so we can finish sorting on Thursday and get them all delivered over the weekend.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us this morning for our brunch and to the fabulous leaders, parents and young people that cooked, served and cleared up.

Final numbers are still being totted up but we're raised over £1200 for group funds. We didn't quite manage the 100 Hogs but next time let's make it our goal to achieve.
