🧘🏻‍♀️ Yoga for children is similar to adult yoga in many ways, with a few key differences which make it beneficial for younger minds, and also lots of fun!

🌴 Kids yoga incorporates stories, songs, games and props whilst learning a variety of yoga poses and mindfulness techniques. One yoga pose can be turned into anything in your imagination, and there are also so many poses which are waiting to be discovered!

🌍 Unlike adult yoga, in a kids yoga class the children are not isolated on their own mats. Partner and group poses form the foundation of a kids yoga class, as well as cooperative games, self-expression and creativity. It is much more fun to do yoga together!

🧘🏻‍♀️ Our kids yoga classes are designed specifically with children in mind; they often don't look anything like an adults yoga class!

🤍 We aim to provide them with the same benefits as you may get from your evening yoga class, however for children this is taught in a more fun-filled environment!

🌬 Believe it or not, we even make relaxation and breathwork a fun activity too, using a variety of props such as scarves, windmills, ping pong balls, and many more.

POSTPONED DUE TO RAIN 🌧🌧🌧😢😢

Guess what, the Stoke Sub Hamdon SkateJam is back!

It's on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, from 12pm to 4pm.

Last year's was such a blast, we're doing it again!

is bringing the vibes with coaching, music, and pros shredding the park. There will be competitions with prizes for all abilities.

Bring your boards, scooters, BMX, or skates and get involved.

Everyone's welcome.

We might even have a time trial on the Pump Track for mountain bikes.

There will be food and drinks, like burgers, ice cream, and coffee.

Parking is limited, so please park nicely in the village.

So pleased I could be part of the team to take 20 girlguiding member interrailing around Europe.
So proud I can introduce our own community into this amazing organisation with so many opportunities for our young members. 1st Stoke sub Hamdon Brownies and onto Martock Guides and beyond…
