Guide Hut Spring Clean - Saturday 16th May!

Please come and support your local Girlguiding Hut!

There is lots of things that need to be cleaned and tidied...from the kitchen cupboards to dusting down the ranger room to cleaning the outside!

If you can spare an hour or so please come and help us keep the guide hut looking it's best!

Thank you to East Somerset Scout District for inviting us to attend their St Georges Day Parade in Yeovil.

Thought of the day was doing our best and there was a presentation of a very special 50 year award to Carol Lewin who has held such diverse roles as Guide and Ranger Leader, County Treasurer and County Outdoor Adviser. Cathy Fone, a brownie leader at 2nd Preston Pluckett Brownies received her 10 year service award.

The sun shone and we got to make a little pipe cleaner rose to take home.

There is a shortage of new and second hand uniform across our division.

If you have any spare uniform, that you would like to donate, please take it along to your unit leaders and they will be able to pass it onto our Guide shop.

We have new designs launching in the summer, ready to purchase in the autumn and we can't wait to see what they will be like!

We will keep you updated on everything new uniforms!
