☀️ A Summer Roundup ☀️

What a super busy but amazing summer we’ve had! 🥰 We’ve been making the most of our time together, hospital visits, exploring sensory rooms, enjoying days out at Apex Park, Taunton parks, farm trips, swimming, playing and making lots of lovely memories along the way. 💦🌳🩵

I have also celebrated my birthday 🎂🥳 and enjoyed some much-needed family time, including a little camping trip to cornwall, filled with laughs, fresh air and quality time together. ⛺️✨

It’s been a busy one, but a summer full of fun, adventures, family time and memories that we’ll treasure. ❤️

Now onto the next chapter… bring on September. The children are all back to school! 🍂📚

A lovely day out yesterday filled with learning, laughter and life skills. 🦆🛒🌳

We enjoyed a walk to the duck pond, watching and talking about the ducks, before heading to the park for some fun on the swings. We also popped to the shop, where we practised important life skills like choosing items, scanning shopping, and understanding how to pay at the checkout and pressing the buttons on self checkout.

One of my little helpers was so proud to lend a hand too! 💛 It's amazing how everyday outings can build confidence, independence, communication and social skills, all while having fun.

These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do. Every day brings new opportunities to learn, grow and make special memories together. 🥰🌿🦆🛝🛒

Days like these are exactly why I love what I do. 💙☀️

There's nothing better than getting outdoors, enjoying the sunshine, and making memories through play. From painting pebbles to digging in the sand and building sandcastles, splashing around in the water, every activity is a chance to learn, explore, and have fun.

Seeing smiles, encouraging independence, and adapting activities so every child can enjoy their day is what makes this job so rewarding.

Every child deserves the opportunity to experience the world in a way that works for them, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of those moments. 🏖️🎨💛

My little helper came to work with me today during the summer holidays. ☀️💚

From helping me support my lovely client on a day out, to looking at ducks and enjoying some fresh air together, it was a nice day. 🦆

Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. Supporting people to get out into the community, make memories, and enjoy the little things in life is so rewarding. And having my little sidekick with me today made it even more special. 💕

Just because I'm not with clients doesn't mean I'm not working! 💼📝🗓️

Behind the scenes, I'm busy keeping Amber's Helping Hands running smoothly, completing invoices, organising my diary, responding to messages, updating paperwork, and planning care for my clients.

Being self-employed means there's always something to do, but I wouldn't have it any other way. 💖

💚 Days like today remind me exactly why I love what I do. 💚

We had the most wonderful day at Made-Well Farm in Hatherleigh. From watching the animals, to giggling on the swings, playing around in the ball pit and making so many happy memories in the sensory room, every moment was filled with smiles.

Seeing the joy, excitement and confidence grow throughout the day is what makes this job so rewarding. It's never just about the outing – it's about creating meaningful experiences, building trust, encouraging independence and making someone else's day that little bit brighter. ❤️

This little ladys beautiful smile says it all. 🥰

I truly feel so lucky to do a job that I love so much. Days like today don't feel like work at all – they remind me why I started Amber's Helping Hands in the first place. Thank you for another perfect day filled with laughter, fun and unforgettable memories. 💕
