Litter pick Saturday,10am meet outside post office. The litter problem is increasing, particularly in the bus shelters and litter is blocking drains. Come on you keen beans!!! All hands needed on deck to keep the village lovely. Families welcome, kids are GREAT at spotting litter!

Didn't they do well! Princetown community garden received their well-earned runners up award from the R.H.S and the One Show on Friday. Congratulations to all involved in this phenomenal achievement! They even got on the telly!!

A volunteering opportunity at the beautiful Endsleigh Walled Gardens

Hello from Endsleigh Walled Gardens!

Many of you will remember our well loved nursery in years gone by … most recently known as Endsleigh Gardens Nursery. We want to honour that history while beginning a new chapter for the gardens. Over the past months we’ve been working hard behind the scenes, slowly taking the space back from the wild with the aim of opening the gardens again in phases.

Our vision is to create more than a garden, we want to offer a place that brings people together with the nursery, a new shop & small cafe and eventually the introduction of educational spaces and workshops. Rooting our plans in heritage and sustainability.

We hope to open soon but are not quite ready for visitors. However we will be opening our gates to volunteers - if you would like to help, whether that’s getting hands in the soil, lending practical skills or sharing memories and stories of the sites, we would love to hear from you.

This is just our beginning and we can’t wait to share the journey as Endsleigh Walled Gardens grows again ✨
