Happy Valentine's Day! Well the sun came out at last and I was able to get into the park to hang some hearts today, just in time! They are along the path to the Memorial Garden, bringing a splash of colour to this area! I hope you all enjoy and have had a good day πŸ’— 😊

Apologies for not putting the Christmas decs up, I was poorly the weekend I'd planned to do it, then didn't have chance to do it again. Hopefully 2026 will be a better year for the displays - hearts for Valentine's next if anyone fancies helping? Will put them up the weekend of 7/8 Feb, again if anyone wants to help, please let me know ❀️ πŸ’– πŸ’—

If anyone wants to contribute to the festive fun in the park and would like to contribute hand crafted baubles, tinsel, knitted Santa's, crocheted trees, whatever you can, it's all very much appreciated! I have plenty of Wool if anyone needs any! And thank you!

The poppies are back around the Memorial Garden in Nunroyd Park. Each one named in honour of an armed forces member from Aireborough who fought for their country in WW1 and sadly lost their life. Also a tribute to the animals who fought so bravely as well.
