Yateley Choral is a friendly and inclusive community based choir performing 4 classical and popular music concerts each year in the local area.

Today (Monday 13th April) we start rehearsing for our Summer concert. The programme will include Alexander L’Estrange's "Songs of a Rainbow Nation" and Bob Chilcott's "A Little Jazz Mass" in a concert which explores how rhythm, song and shared human experience can travel and transform — from African roots to African-American spirituals, from South African song to the vibrant energy of jazz.

Spring concert - we had a great time. Many thanks to MD James Casselton, organist Simon Dinsdale, soprano Jo Chambers and our brilliant young musicians on cello, oboe and timpani.

It doesn't look much at the moment, but by lunch time Saturday(21st), all this will be a platform from which we will perform our Spring Concert.

Spring concert - introducing our soloists:
We are delighted to welcome Johanna Chambers as our soprano soloist. Johanna has been singing from an early age and combines her performing work with a professional career dedicated to inspiring children to explore music through singing. She studied classical voice at the London College of Music under Ivor Flint and Sandra Ford.
Johanna has performed with The Savoy Singers, Maidenhead Operatic Society and Hounslow Musical Company, and has sung for HM The King. She has also been a chorister with the Chapel Choir of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
As part of our mission, we strive to encourage young musicians, so we are thrilled to be able to welcome three young people who will accompany us on cello, oboe and timpani.
The concert is on Saturday at 7.45pm at St Swithun's Church, Yateley
Advance tickets at £17 are still available.
On the door, tickets will be £20 for adults, £5 for students and free for accompanied children under 16.

We thoroughly enjoyed carol singing for charity again this Christmas Eve. Happy Christmas one and all.

It was standing room only at our Carol Concert on Monday, and, thanks to our lovely audience, Breakaway Brass, and our choir members, we raised over £1300 for The Fountain Centre

The stage is built and the wine is mulling ready for our Carol Concert tonight. We are looking forward to welcoming Breakaway-Brass who will play for us and accompany the audience carols.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎶 so come and join us for Carols, mulled wine and mince pies at our Carol concert on December 15th at St Peter's Church, Yateley. Admission is free and there will be a retiring collection in aid of the wonderful local charity: The Fountain Centre
