Anyone local to us in Cranford Park Drive please can you keep a lookout for Misty. She is an indoor cat but escaped through a window last night and hasn't been home since, so is either hurt or trapped. Please call the rescue 01252 871478 if you know anything or see her. Thanks

Look what we found in our dead apple tree stump. Our old Bramley tree supported and gave life to so many creatures during it's life and even after death. Digging out the final small stump we noticed a stag beetle larvae. Stag beetle love hard wood so we always leave our old wood in the garden on top of soil. I've carefully hand sieved through all the loose wood and captured 46 larvae. They are a mix of ages are they are different sizes. Stag beetles are really struggling so everyone saved is precious. There will be more in the main stump I know. All are safe and and will be resited once we've finish the job in hand. People's Trust for Endangered Species

Remember Ratty who was hurt in a snap rat trap. He was unable to use his front left leg which was stuck behind him but look at him now, he has full use of his arm. A good treatment plan has worked wonders for this little un. Front leg injuries are not always doom and gloom!
