Since its beginnings at the Avon Valley Railway, The Music Train has grown into an inclusive and highly valued programme, bringing people together through accessible live music. The initiative welcomes individuals with a wide range of support needs and has become a powerful source of joy, connection and community engagement.

**Reminder** Filton & Bradley Stoke 'Your Voice' event on Thursday 26th March, 18:30 – 20:30 at Baileys Court Activity Centre, Bradley Stoke.

🗣Your voice... is our new series of community meetings. They create an informal space for conversations between communities, the council, and other key partners such as town and parish councils, Avon Fire and Rescue Service, Avon and Somerset Police and local voluntary and community groups.

The meetings are approximately 2 hours long, and organised into 3 sessions. You can attend all 3 sessions, or just the parts that are of most interest to you.

👉Marketplace (open for the whole meeting) - visit information stands to talk to council teams and other partners or voluntary organisations.
👉Community Talks (45 minutes) - presentations from a council team or partner organisation to share and discuss information about local issues, including an Open 👉Forum for any questions.
Roundtable discussions (45 minutes) - a workshop to discuss a local challenge and propose joint solutions.

You do not need to book to attend the meeting - just drop in! But if you do register for a free ticket, you will receive a helpful reminder email 2 days before the event.

South Gloucestershire Council are hosting a drop in event where you can meet the project team and learn more about the upcoming works on the A432 Badminton Road.

Stand Against Racism & Inequality (SARI) and Bristol Disability Equality Forum (BDEF) are hosting a series of workshops with the first being around the LGBTQ+ and Disabled experience of hate crime and discrimination.

This is primarily for Disabled people who also are LGBTQIA+, as this session will focus specifically on the experiences of this part of the Disabled people community. LGBTQIA+ stands for le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning intersex, asexual with the + used to signify all of the gender identities and sexual orientations that are not specifically covered by the other initials.

Next month Advice Hubs will feature a guest talk from Mark Austen about accessible nature and wellbeing.

Mark will be talking about the Sensing Nature and Wellbeing Walks at , a project designed to help blind and partially sighted people explore the arboretum through sensory experiences at a slower, more relaxed pace.
