1986 (Wymondham) Squadron ATC aim to give young people incredible experiences that encourage the spirit of adventure, good leadership and good citizenship.

They strive to provide training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life, and they promote a practical interest in aviation and the RAF. You don’t have to be interested in a career in the RAF to join us – we offer opportunities that are unique, chances to meet new people, hands-on experiences and lots of fun. There are more than 40,000 members aged between 12 and 20 years, and you could join them.

Well done Cadet Martins who represented Norfolk and Suffolk Wing Air Cadets and only went and won Gold 🥇in Shot Put in his age category.

Norfolk & Suffolk Wing is Back on the Sporting Scene! 🏅

3rd Place Overall

Congratulations to the 42 cadets who represented Norfolk & Suffolk Wing this year and delivered an incredibly successful performance. The team returned with an impressive 50 medals, one regional record broken, and an outstanding 3rd place overall finish.

Category Results:

* Year 8 (U14) Girls – 2nd Place
* Year 8 (U14) Boys – 2nd Place
* Year 9 & 10 (U16) Girls – 2nd Place
* Year 9 & 10 (U16) Boys – 5th Place
* Year 11 & 12 (U18) Girls – 4th Place
* Year 11 & 12 (U18) Boys – 6th Place

This fantastic achievement reflects the dedication, hard work, and determination shown by every cadet, as well as the support provided by staff and volunteers throughout the season.

Well done to everyone involved on an excellent day of competition and for putting Norfolk & Suffolk Wing firmly back on the sporting scene! 🎉👏

Well done to Sgt Read, Cdt D'Arachy and Cdt Marling on successfully completing RAFWARMA 2026 all three gaining their Silver Road Marching Badges!

Next step they will SMASH Nijmegen!

Not forgetting Adult Sgt Bettis, who volunteered to be part of the RAFWARMA support team, working hard welcoming the teams into the rest areas on day 1 as well as supervising the road crossing for additional safety amongst other duties over the 3 days.
