Well done Cadet Martins who represented Norfolk and Suffolk Wing Air Cadets and only went and won Gold 🥇in Shot Put in his age category.

Norfolk & Suffolk Wing is Back on the Sporting Scene! 🏅

3rd Place Overall

Congratulations to the 42 cadets who represented Norfolk & Suffolk Wing this year and delivered an incredibly successful performance. The team returned with an impressive 50 medals, one regional record broken, and an outstanding 3rd place overall finish.

This fantastic achievement reflects the dedication, hard work, and determination shown by every cadet, as well as the support provided by staff and volunteers throughout the season.

Well done to Sgt Read, Cdt D'Arachy and Cdt Marling on successfully completing RAFWARMA 2026 all three gaining their Silver Road Marching Badges!

Next step they will SMASH Nijmegen!

Not forgetting Adult Sgt Bettis, who volunteered to be part of the RAFWARMA support team, working hard welcoming the teams into the rest areas on day 1 as well as supervising the road crossing for additional safety amongst other duties over the 3 days.

First aid course success!

Cadets from sector 5 and 6 from kicked off their half term with a Youth First Aid Course with 19 cadets earning their Bronze badge.

First aid is an extremely valuable life skill. Cadets from across the core having used skills they learnt in real life situations.

The standout part of this course was that it was run by an all Gold First Aid cadet instructor team with staff in attendance for minimal oversight. This is one of only a few first aid courses in the Corps to be “run by cadets for cadets”. It was an amazing achievement for .

A big well done to all the cadets who passed the course and an even bigger thank you to the cadets and staff who made the course possible.

Today cadets and staff joined for the 2nd road marching session of the season. This saw our cadets complete a 23km walk making them eligible for the blue road marching badge. A big congratulations to those 5 cadets who were awarded their badges today by the Wing Road Marching Officer.

An exciting and challenging day, Well Done to everyone involved.

On Saturday 11th October cadets joined for the annual drill competition held at RAF Marham. It was an action packed day with not only uniform inspections, foot drill and banner but also a chance to look around the Marham stem centre, see a demonstration by the RAF police working dogs and an amazing squadron photo in front of an F35.

Well done to all cadets involved, you showed real commitment to the team putting in countless parade nights of training.

Finally, congratulations to for being the winners of the 2025 foot drill competition and a massive thank you to the staff for organising such an enjoyable day.
