Wymondham in Bloom would like to thank all of the businesses that took part, as well as this year’s Gold Sponsor, The White Hart Pub, and Wymondham Garden Centre for their valued support of the competition.

At an awards presentation at Kett’s Books on 15 July, all participants were thanked for their hard work. For this year’s Volunteer of the Year for Wymondham in Bloom, a joint award was presented to Sue Savage and Mary Primrose for their sustained dedication to improving the floral displays at the railway station.

A successful AGM yesterday.
The GOOD NEWS, a volunteer for chair in 2027 came forward so we have certainty & continuity for next year.
Thanks to Cynthia for the Quiz: the id of autumnal tree leaves caused much debate & there was lots of thinking & brain power amongst the teams for the cryptic clues for desserts quiz. Some teams did very well.

It's just 2 weeks to go till Open Gardens 2026 on 6th and 7th June 12.00 to 5pm 🌷🌻🪻🌼 🌹

If you want to be organised and get your tickets in advance they are just £5 a ticket and available from Wymondham Heritage Museum, Wymondham Abbey, Wymondham Garden Centre and the Friday Market.

They will also be available for sale at participating gardens on the weekend of the event and the Market Place on 7th June. .

TLDR: Evening shopping in Wymondham is tonight!

It's morning now and you've got all your very busy things to do. When you've finished all that, you'll definitley have earned a treat! And 15 of our local businesses are going to stay open this evening to give you a chance to explore after you've got past the responsibilities of the day. Come and have a look around, see your neighbours, and support your local independent shops!
