Our Scout adventures don’t just happen — they’re made possible by the incredible volunteers who keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

This Volunteers Week, we’re saying thank you to our trustees and governance volunteers. Your expertise, commitment and care ensure our Groups, Districts and Counties are well‑run, sustainable and ready for the future 🌍⚜️

Ever wondered if you can support Scouting without leading sessions, running activities or heading out on trips? Yes, you can!

We have trustee vacancies in groups across Northumberland, Newcastle and North Tyneside — roles that help shape the future of Scouting while fitting around your life.

Help us build strong foundations for the next generation. Check out the link to our trustee information pack in the comments and learn more about being a trustee today.

This Volunteers Week, join the adventure and find your !

Volunteering with Northumberland Scouts means helping young people from across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland to grow in confidence, build Skills For Life and create unforgettable memories that last ✨️

You’ll meet new people, try new things and have loads of fun — all while making a real difference!

At Scouts, we celebrate difference and welcome everyone. Whatever your background or ability, there’s a volunteer spot with your name on it.

Team player? Proud to support young people? Great at organising? You already have what it takes — and you don’t need to stand in front of a group to make an impact. Some of our biggest heroes work behind the scenes with admin, fundraising or as trustees.

Every volunteer changes a life — including their own. So when will you start?
