Sadly we have to state our lovely Humphrey Gibso has died. A trustee in our difficult days Humphrey was a star. He looked after the cafe in the Orthopedic outpatients. As a trustee he was amazing. We miss him

(Bilingual) Yn dilyn cais llwyddiannus am dros £12k o a***n elusennol gan Wasanaeth Gwirfoddol Maelor, mae staff ein Ward Ôl-enedigol yn Ysbyty Maelor Wrecsam wedi gallu prynu 10 cot addasadwy fel hon.

Mae'r cotiau'n galluogi gwell gofal a chysur yn y dyddiau cynnar hollbwysig am ei bod hi'n bosib i'w rhoi dros ben welyau ysbyty, yn lle ei bod yn gyfyngedig ger ochr y gwely yn unig. Mae hyn yn llesol i unigolion sy'n gwella ar ôl genedigaethau cesaraidd ac mae'r gallu i newid yr uchder yn cefnogi staff yn well i ddarparu gofal. Diolch MVS!

Following a successful bid for over £12k of charitable funds from the Maelor Voluntary Service, our Postnatal Ward staff at Ysbyty Maelor Wrexham have been able to purchase 10 of these fantastic adjustable bedside cots.

The cots enable better care and comfort in those crucial early days as they can glide over hospital beds, instead of being limited to bedside-only positions. This is beneficial for individuals recovering from c-section births and the height adjustability better supports staff delivering care. Thank you MVS!

To all our NHS staff, we want to say thank you for your hard work for the last 12 months. Please come and join us next Tuesday 9th December, 10am- 2pm for a free cuppa and mince pie 🎅🎄✨️☕️.
