Recently, Emerge Community Arts has been working in partnership with Wrexham University on the ARISE project, delivering a Forum Theatre workshop at Ty Pawb, Wrexham. Using real-life stories and lived experiences, participants explored accessibility, inclusion and discrimination through drama, transforming discussion into action. It was inspiring to watch confidence grow throughout the day as participants rehearsed communication, self-advocacy and different possibilities for change. Projects like this remind us of the power of Forum Theatre to create safe spaces where people can share experiences, challenge assumptions and find their voice.
